Serious Happenings

Josiah and Stennes were honored with an invitation to Georgia's Commissioner of Agriculture Gary Black's (in the center below) private barn in north Georgia for a cook-out / press conference. They were two of ten 4-H students chosen from the whole state, and they were the only two invited from the same county! What an honor! They had a great time rubbing elbows with agriculture "big wigs"!

Anders has been helping Pop finish up some oxen yokes and other "shop" jobs.

Pop and ChubChub have been working on pens such as these in the photo below. Aren't they beautiful?

Finishing Our Week

ChubChub turned his first pen on the lathe while Pop watched and instructed. He's pretty proud of himself!

 

Spring Break Week

We had a gentle Spring Break with lots of visitors and hard work at the U-Pick. Stennes is now 18, so we've turned another corner in our family.

 Branch and his friend Seth decided to test out the 4-wheelers and the mud. This is pretty much what most of our Spring Break looked like...
