Anders cleaned up around his garden this morning. The leaves and dead plants go to the chickens where it will all be recycled into eggs and mulch. We will be planting the gardens at the end of this month/beginning of September. Cherry tomatoes are doing great right now, and we can usually pick a big bowlful every day. Fresh and juicy!
ChubChub and The Girl were sent to sweep up the outside walkways. Unfortunately, Chub was unhappy, whacked The Girl with the broom, and was promptly brought inside.

Peeling peaches is profitable work, especially when Mean Ol' Mama is in her chair, reading aloud an exciting story of an Egyptian ruler during the invasion of the Hyksos.
After dinner, Josiah taught the little ones parts of a tune that he composed. They enjoyed playing and it provided for a pleasant atmosphere during the rush of the evening.
