Tuesday Tour and Tip
At 1:30 Mean Ol' Mama took Josiah and Branch to the local Christian school to play with their strings class and help struggling students. Josiah (red-striped shirt) enjoyed helping another boy with cello. And for a small "tour", this is Mean Ol' Mama's Bible drawer by her Throne. Depends on her mood as to which she chooses: KJV English or Reina Valera Spanish, then a daily dose of one of her favorites, Streams in the Desert. Eugene Peterson's The Message: Psalms is an interesting compilation of word pictures. It isn't for everyone, though. An old copy of A.B. Simpson's message Himself is a comforting read, too.Tip: Mix a spoonful of natural peanut butter and a bit of honey, sorghum, or brown sugar into a bowlful of hot oatmeal for the kids' favorite breakfast: fresh peanut butter/oatmeal "cookie" in a bowl. Yummy!
