Monday Muses

The Girl attended her first knitting class (with Chan and Teresa) at the local library Saturday morning. She really enjoyed learning the basics. We had to buy her smaller needles, though, and she was excited to choose yarn. She will be knitting on Thursday afternoons as well because her crochet teacher prefers to knit! Go figure...
During lunchtime Saturday, we heard a tree fall in the forest. [Yes, they do make a sound if no one is there to hear them fall..] Too much rain on too-old trees makes for waterlogged...well, logs. Poppins and the boys pushed it down and cut it up for the cook-out fires we enjoy .

The Girl spent a cozy morning on her bed with a pile of Reader Books from Reader Box #2. She rushes through her schoolwork in order to read, read, read. Gotta love it...
And this little Indian boy decided to color for a while after doing his mini-school.
We went preaching 3 times yesterday (twice in Donalsonville, and once in Bainbridge). Each meeting was good, good, good. People are realizing that "change" isn't in the government after all but in something that's eternal and that WORKS: Jesus Christ and His plan for our individual lives.
