We had a very fun vacation! Anders and Wilson had to see who was alpha male.

Guess who was alpha between Anders and Poppins...
Can you see the little chipmunk hiding out at Long Lake?
ChubChub was thrilled to swim to his tadpole-heart's content.
We thoroughly enjoyed a Thai cooking demonstration and delicious meal at our friends' house.
Mean Ol' Mama compared the sauces to the ones back at home. Fish sauce, anyone? Yummy! Two bottles back by the stove in Georgia..
Whoa, Aunt Gayle and Uncle Earl!!! They are sooooo much fun to be with!
On our way back home, minus the two older boys who had 4-H competitions. Boo hoo! We'll be glad to see them soon...
Mo'M's about to start teaching high school Spanish; Stennes is busy working and starting back at the college; Josiah and Anders are about to start school next week; the others are back in homeschooling; the puppies are cute and growing quickly; the steers are moooo-ving along; lots of changes going on, and we'll keep y'all posted...

Time's A-Flying

We have quite a few chicks around the yard, and there are many more out at the property.
Pop and the fellows brought this carriage over from the U-Pick.  He's going to be fixing it up and restoring its beauty.
We had a great time in the camps Sunday, and we especially enjoyed hearing our Haitian brothers singing.
The Girl celebrated her 11th birthday.  She had a fun time guessing at what she received.
And she loves it !!!!
A promise ring from Daddy...
Dr. Young gave us a great lecture about the Revolutionary War.  There is so much to say about the following photo: children are trying on costumes, The Girl's arm splint is there, a costume box full of "jewels", the open hymnal for singing, and....Mean Ol' Mama's large coffee, which is a very important detail.

Two of The Girl's friends made her these lovely, yummy cupcakes.  It was a sweet surprise for the end of her birthday.
The boys are very busy at the U-Pick; Mean Ol' Mama is trying to find her elusive groove; Poppins is working longer hours on the job, and we're all plugging away at loving each other and staying sane.

Slow Down, Life!

The Seekers class had an end-of-the-year program, celebrating the incredible amount of memory work and school work that they finished.

Preaching in Florida
Out at the property with friends (and bulls!)

The Girl had a lesson in making jelly
Soccer has been fun for everyone this season.

The Girl had a bit of a problem with one of the soccer balls, though.

Just a bit busy these days (laughing hysterically now....)

Where did the last month go????

The Girl and her friends enjoy doing activities together, like making these "Hamburger" cookies.
Branch is now an active Boy Scout.
Both Branch and The Girl participated in a 4-H speech and project competition, and they each won 1st place blue ribbons!
We're still busy with our Seekers class.
We took a field trip to Columbus to the National Infantry Museum.

Anders shot this nice turkey.
Branch helped put a porch on the back of the house.  Can you see him in the corner?
We had a fun "Eggs-travaganza Day" with some great friends down in Florida.  Lots of laughs, great games, yummy food, and fantastic memories!

The Girl is getting all her baking goodies in one big box.  She has plans!
All the kids have been busy with soccer, and Josiah has to "ref" quite a few games each time.

We had a great time of 4-H games !

Stennes attended the prom at Grace Christian Academy with his pretty friend, Kendi.  Wow, they're all growing up !

We're crazy-busy still, wrapping up quite a few activities and getting ready for some big changes this next school year.  I'll try to be more diligent in posting!  Sorry for the long wait.
